Reaching the Lido and the Hotel Rivamare is very simple: by car with the practical ferryboat that departs from Tronchetto island; on foot, with the ferry boat departing either from Piazzale Roma or from Venice Train Station or from the Airport, thanks to direct service with speed boats that takes you straight to the island.

Hotel Rivamare has a privileged and very pleasant location: on Lungomare Marconi, in front of the sea and the beautiful private beach; 50 meters far from Hotel Excelsior, a magnificent example of liberty architecture, and 200 meters far from Palazzo del Cinema, a venue for important events and numerous congresses besides the Film Festival.
Buses that will take you all over the 14-km island are found only a short walk from the Hotel.
They will take you to San Nicolò (10 minutes) with the Benedictine Church and the beautiful cloister dating from the 16th century; to Gran Viale (5 minutes), the center of the Lido with the very delightful treed avenue lined with shops, boutiques, and famous ice cream parlors; to Alberoni (10 minutes) with the ancient and characteristic village of Malamocco where the Doge of Venice was elected, and for sports enthusiasts, to the prestigious golf course, and the riding school. In addition, do not miss the Jewish cemetery known since 1386.
Finally, in a few minutes by bus or on foot, you can reach the Piazzale Santa Maria Elisabetta stop from which water buses and motorboats leave for Venice (in 10 minutes by boat they arrive in Piazza San Marco).
